Trophy hunting is completely disgusting, hunting to put meat in the freezer to feed your family is necessary in many parts of the world.

Humans are predators and hunt for food. But in modern society it's really no longer especially needed in modern countries due to farming. For people like that I assume the predatory instinct is stronger than the need for convenience, and I personally do not know if that's hard to resist or not.
