Something that didn't make sense in the trial is that they presented the murders like the Manson Family was meeting these people for the first time as part of the narrative that Manson ordered them to kill whoever was in that house. The truth is that they all knew each other. Manson's girls sold drugs to Sharon Tate and her friends before.
