How would you feel if you were the only overweight/fat/obese person in the neighborhood?

I am the only obese person (I have seen) in my block of flats and it doesn't 'bother' me, but I do notice feeling 'othered' by it.
I have seen people's polite smiles when they stand aside because there is only room for one of us to pass, or on the stairs etc but I don't think much more of it than that.
