Why do people do this 😆

Yesterday I asked a coworker for help because my work app wasn't working. She pulled out her phone and said, "Just use [name of the app I just said wasn't working]".

Kinda like three weeks ago when I was going around town and asking people where is a place to fix my phone, and everyone kept saying, "Look it up on your phone." HOW? I DON'T HAVE ONE. 😂
