Well I think I waited too long. Most of them already been split. Too many bugs got into them.

Someone bought one from Aldi this week and got home and it had a big split down the side. Maybe it’s the weather. I’ve seen some that are not that way though. If they don’t have bugs in them you can go ahead and shell the seeds and they can be frozen to eat later.

@FreestyleArt I found some at Lowe’s a couple years ago. It probably costs more but you would be better off with something natural like that. Maybe you could find the ingredients and mix up your own spray.
