I remember being in a car with my dad driving and he sneezed repeatedly for about 5 minutes straight. It is a miracle we survived.

hah! My husbands record when ive been with him was 22 sneezes in a chain while driving down the road and he still hasn't driven head on into oncoming traffic yet. Im pretty impressed.

@nonsensiclesnail oh damn!!!
Just as I suspect most incidents of "turbulence" in the air can also be attributed to hay fever.

A sneeze for me is always a Duck and Cover emergency:

That has happened to me.

I also have a condition called "visual migraines", which became awesomely worse after another vehicle rear ended me while I was stopped at a traffic light, and that condition causes my eyes to cross, (visually only), at random times. I can be cooking with hot oil, driving, doing almost anything and it will just happen.

It's much better now but imagine driving! I have to pull over.
