So I had this weird call a while back
I get a text saying, "Hey pumpkin, call me when you get this."
I thought I knew who it was so I called said number thinking he got a new phone because he always does.
This dude with an accent answers and I immedatedly realize I don't know this person when he starts rambling about a soccer game and plans for the weekend. I'm stunned and this is all happening so fast, I don't even get a chance to think about whats going on.
Dude asks, "Are you okay?" when I wasn't talking. I melted a little.🤣 This was before I had a partner again, but It felt nice to hear someone ask that. He didn't realize I wasn't who he thought I was so I told him I was fine, just tired...would call back. I hung up after we said goodbyes. At this point he hadn't realized I wasn't whoever pumpkin was.
Then texted him later that night to let him know he had the wrong person and told him he had a nice voice. We had a laugh about it. God it was weird😅Whoever pumpkin is, I hope she and him are still going strong.
