@FreestyleArt Yeah I know, it’s getting so expensive. When i buy a whole chicken to cut up and cook I remove the skin & big chunks of fat, and if there is a neck & giblets inside I put it with the skin and cook it in a saucepan till it gets cooked through. Cool it down and chopped it up into bite-sized pieces and cook it with eggs the next day for the feral cat. Helps to make the canned food last longer.

@FreestyleArt Likes homemade food from scraps like that better than canned food. If I make salmon patties I clean up the salmon and remove the skin & save it for mixing with scrambled eggs. Loves that one too.
