My rent is going up..again.

My first rent was 1,450 a month.

It's 1,500 now.

And then next month will be 1,600.

Thanks Biden. The time he'll be out of Office would probably be over 2,000.

I'll probably fvck off to find another house to rent before then.

You think some how that Biden is responsible for your rent going up? You think that if Trump was still President that it would not be going up? Remember what business he is in and remember what business his Father was in... a slum landlord who made his fortune charging people ever increasing amounts of rent... and some how you think he was in it for YOU? How many undocumented immigrants are YOUR neighbours? Simplistic ignorant arguments such as YOURS that blame OTHERS for your lot in life were responsible for immigration policies that led to the Holocaust instead of saving those people from being murdered. Look up the story of a ship called the St. Louis and get back to me on this.. . I think you should read the words at the base of the Statue of Liberty, You learned them in school - can you recite them? You should study AMERICAN history and realize that America is a nation of immigrants.. @pdqsailor1 I live in a house and don’t know any in my area but there are apartments around with them living there. This started when Obama was president and a man from Guatamala who sold real estate told me. As far as your quote from the Bible my sister says that to people all the time but then puts people down to the ground for the least thing so maybe you are projecting like she does. If someone truly wants to be a part of this nation they will come through the front door & do it legally instead of paying a Coyote to smuggle them and then bring a backpack full of illegal drugs including fentanyl in when they cross over because the Coyotes make every single person, man, woman and child do that.

@cherokeepatti But they are not affecting YOUR property values now are they? Or is this massive demand for housing responsible for your house being worth more money these days? America is a HUGE country and YOUR political bias is clouding the validity of your arguments.. Undocumented immigrants might be having just a wee bit of a hard time affording $1600 a month for rent.. and they are not living in a house at current real estate prices either.. So maybe, just maybe relax on the political bias of your argument the President does not control all aspects of YOUR life not for good and not for bad either.. He is President not G-d all mighty..

@pdqsailor1 this isn’t about my property values. It’s about Americans who can’t find affordable housing and there are some in my city that end up homeless because of it.

@cherokeepatti Yes.. and that has a lot more to do with what Landlords can get away with and how they can squeeze people than it is in ANY way the fault of other people.. Interest rates are up, mortgages are more expensive and peoples OPTIONS have been reduced by market forces not by dirt poor undocumented immigrants.. Trump is NOT going to save you or the people you advocate for from reality...
