PhoenixPhail You honestly believe that well over a hundred different nations of all manner of political systems and dogmas, many very much at odds with each other, would conspire to spread an infectious disease and its accompanying fear just as damaging to each of their own and their friends' populations, societies and economies, as those of their enemies?
And this presumably spearheaded by nations as both powerful and diverse as hard-line Communist China, the rigid Middle Eastern theocracies, and the major democracies (small 'd') of Europe, the USA, etc?
In order that may all replace their own, home-grown administrations with a single, unified, "world government" of unknown but totalitarian political persuasion, paid for and run in unknown ways, from an unknown centre, by an unknown "elite" few?
Even though it's easier to herd cats than to make even the friendly ones among them form simple, peaceful, co-operation agreements without fearing losing their own autonomies?
Yes, the late-Mediaeval alchemists really did transmute "base" metals to gold, and the "Cottingley Fairies" photographs were of real, live fairies......
