If you could time travel, how would you use it without drastically changing history?

If I had that ability I would be very very temped to go back to when I was around 15-16 to change my personal history when my mother offered to help me with something I was dreaming of doing with my life. I was so very shy to take up her offer and been regretting it ever since.
However, I am finally living my dreams only years and years to get there. Could of got there earlier with Mothers help.
Anyway, its a conundrum, I like where I am now and if possible to time travel and 'fix' that moment I would not be here now typing this and knowing the people who have helped me live my dream.
So I don't know.

I’d go back in time and kidnap baby Hitler , take him to Latin America and make him go to art school.

I’d get the winning lottery numbers then go back just a day to buy a ticket

I would try and be a better person.

Go back to the night i met a certain girl,and not ask her out,so we never really meet.
This might change history though..what if instead of going out with me a few months,she meets another guy,who is evil,and they have a baby and the baby grows up to be like Hitler?

Would go in future to take better informed decisions today, that will change the future not the history.

Go back to the Cretaceous,with a camera,get loads of pictures of Dinosaurs,then return and sell,maybe for £500000 per photo as a starting bid...

I would go forward to the future where all my dreams can be fulfilled digitally including simulations of the past. Lol

I would use time travel TO change history. I would avoid injuries and experiences which changed my life for the worse.
