@SW-User I am not a sports fan at all. The NHL, CFL, NBA, MLB, NFL could all disappear tonight and I wouldn't shed a tear. I couldn't name a player on either team.

@SW-User I rather enjoyed trying to learn French. When I was in high school there was no French class I could take so....

In western Canada, how prevalent is the French language? I was under the notion that western Canada was almost exclusively English?

@SW-User Western Canada is very ethnically and linguistically diverse. Some of the kids in my class didn't learn English until they started grade one. French, German, Russian, Ukrainian Chinese etc. I would hear those languages being spoken in the coffee shop and stores in town. My grandparents spoke Welsh at home. My great grandparents spoke German and Russian and Cree.
