Yeah, all these things aren’t prudent or frugal, but none of these things make people poor 😑
Being poor is when splurging on any of these things would drastically worsen your already dire, pre-existing financial hardships.
I’m not advocating for the 16 unwise financial decisions, but anyone who has experience poverty knows this is not what got them there. most of the time what landed/kept them in poverty was generational trauma.

Not always. Sometimes more opportunities open to you when you appear like you can afford to buy overpriced stuff.
Also social smoking is a thing which can help you get new contacts and information you wouldn't get otherwise.
I wouldn't call alcoholism a habit, it's an addiction.
