In these increasingly harder economic times, there are some ways to make your food budget stretch a bit further without sacrificing taste or nutrition. One in particular is to buy 'block cheese' rather than shredded. With very little time and effort the block cheese can be shredded manually.
Let's make America grate again!

@Miklee02 This may be apocryphal, but I've heard the story told that a few decades ago some organization in Wisconsin got tired of the license plate motto "America's Dairyland" and held a contest for a replacement. And, allegedly, high among the suggestions was "Eat Cheese or Die"!

BTW. if you're unfamiliar with the New Hampshire motto, this joke won't make much sense.
