What have you nearly lost your job over?

For me, it was technical issues at the last place I’d worked. They didn’t know it at the time, though. I had a job that required my ability to listen, and it was assumed that my performance was going down due to hearing loss. Turned out to be an issue with the computer that disrupted the headset I’d used. My hearing is just fine.
