If this offended people they deserved to be offended. I mean honestly if someone actually gets pissed about someone just sharing accurate information then they have a problem and it needs correcting.
The uninformed got scared of msg in the 70's just like they got scared of gluten in the 2000's. I don't think you're going to offend anyone, neither are you going to change their minds.
