More money improved my quality of life which has contributed to a happier me.
toodizzytotalk · 26-30, M
@Rawtruth after that? Does making more now will improve your quality of life more or does it get into "luxury lifestyle" territory
Rawtruth · 26-30, F
@toodizzytotalk I mean more money would always improve my quality of life but when is enough enough is on the person. I try to be grateful for what I have and thankful for my path and leave it at that.

The idiots that say money doesn't bring happiness didn't try being poor.
@kayoshin Strong statement to make, Money can help but it’s not everything in life, I’ve had periods in the past when I had nothing.

I don’t know that it makes one happy but it certainly helps eliminate some kinds of stress and worry.
monte3 · 70-79, M
Money gets rid of a lot of problems.
Money does not insure happiness, but poverty can equate to unhappiness.

It makes you comfortable and removes some worries. But it doesn't buy happiness
toodizzytotalk · 26-30, M
@OldBrit does investing the money gives more comfort compared to just directly saving it or buying realestate?
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@toodizzytotalk I've never bought real estate other than my house. Last year with very low interest rates I've shifted more to having more invested in stocks and gilts etc

No, money can get you places but it won’t bring you happiness.
toodizzytotalk · 26-30, M
@SW-User when did you realize that?

SW-User
@toodizzytotalk when I had a good life style but wasn’t happy deep down. But I’ve never been materialistic ever to be honest. Prefer the simple things in life.
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F

ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F

RubySoo · 56-60, F

Justenjoyit · 61-69, M
Money is important and helps a lot, but good health is number one.
toodizzytotalk · 26-30, M
@Justenjoyit at my age health can take a toll temporarily if you have an option to make more money, right?
Justenjoyit · 61-69, M
@toodizzytotalk Money is just a good tool if you use it wisely.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
It’s much better having money.
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 31-35, F
I’ve had enough before where I was able to travel. It is something I miss a lot. Life’s about the experiences we have & memories made with who matters to us. Money made some amazing memories possible for me. Not having to worry about having enough takes a lot of stress away from life to which makes me happier. I’m fortunate enough to have been able to afford a house this year. But with my husband’s knee surgery & my pregnancy nearing its end having enough money for everything we’ll need has been front & center of my mind.
