My favorite story was the civil war soldier who was shot through the testicles…the bullet went clean through and subsequently pierced a young female nurse in the abdomen…and she wound up pregnant from the bullet.
I can’t quite recall the original version of the story, but on looking up the story, I am led to believe they chose to marry after that.
