at my little country store that sells a little food and liquor- I bought a Wednesday bingo cards

cause tonight is radio Bingo. I've never done this before. The local station twenty miles away calls out the numbers. I'm so excited but unsure of the rules for the five games I bought for five dollars and assume I have to phone in if I get Bingo

It’s 2024, and the Internet is a thing, you know.

@RedBaron I thought this was different here
RedBaron · M
@atlantic59 Different from the Internet? It wouldn’t exist without the Internet.

@RedBaron oh but in my mind I'm just in a giant web of people transmitting thought patterns formed into words on screens...I don't want to know about technology and stuff, I just want to believe it's some kind of global community
RedBaron · M
@atlantic59 But “transmitting thought patterns formed into words on screens” or, less verbosely, “expressing thoughts on screens” (8 words economized down to 4!) literally describes computer and Internet technology.

@RedBaron yes, I'm sure it is IT guy. Is your middle name 'Killjoy'? btw, -cause I seem to be losing my 'warm and fuzzies'..
RedBaron · M
@atlantic59 I’m not an IT guy, and your “warm and fuzzies” are not my issue.
atlantic59 · 61-69, M
@RedBaron but they are mine
