Father Knows Best was an American television show from the 1950s. The younger daughter in the series was nicknamed Kitten. Google her (the actress Lauren Chapin).

EDIT: I'm sorry for not answering as I suppose I should've. I later looked into kitten abuse and was appalled by reports of the horrible mistreatment of kittens.
