I'm watching Top Gear one day and Jeremy Clarkson (I believe it was) remarked while driving through Belgium that it has the most lit highways anywhere in Europe. Did you find this to be true?
@Julien The motorways are good, suburban roads not so good. I drive from Germany to Dunkirk via Belgium a couple of times a year and never have an worries about the main roads. Traffic around Antwerp can be a bit of a trial though if I'm unlucky enough to hit it at rush hour!
@Julien Well, yes, but it's even worse in the traditional rush hour times. What bothers me most about driving in Belgium is tail gating. They drive much too close!
@ninalanyon and speed limit is just a recommendation to them … that and changing lanes at the last possible one and passing by the right side … but other than that it’s a chill country :)
