Benjamin Franklin left 1000 pounds sterling, equivalent to 4000 dollars today, to Boston and Philadelphia with the stipulation that would get 75%of it after one hundred years and the rest after 200 years. In the 1990s, one city got 4 million out of it and the other got 2 million.
