This is so true. Most of the time, we have no idea how our actions impact others, in both good and bad ways. But sometimes we are given insight into our actions. I have had several instances where something I had done for someone, something I never even gave a second thought about, turned out to make a difference in their life. I only found out by accident years later.

Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty.
