Until recently I didn't understand friendship. I knew what I did from my end. I knew that if I could get someone to forget about a problem they were having usually with some form of silliness, sarcasm or laughter that all would be fine. I've come to understand that the best people in this world will be here through thick and thin, not be afraid to make statements I might not like but need to hear and most of all just say it's ok. If you have anyone in your life or online that you consider your friend, tell them. Just one sentence or 20 depending on what needs to be said.
