Well, except that he wasn't dead though. You can't be dead if you didn't live first. What he was, was non existent. Still, its only details.

How do you know? Perhaps life, or existence, is death, and what we mortals perceive as death is just an eternal slumber, filled with mental activities for millions of years. After all, life is where we feel pain, some feel excruciating pain all their lives. Death would be a relief, a break from pain, death would be life. @StyleCat
