A quote from Benjamin Franklin

"Freedom of speech is a principal pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved, and tyranny is erected on its ruins."

Relevant then, and even more relevant today, especially online where on certain sites, we are censored by tyrants. They say you can say this, but you can't say that, who are they to say?

@AbbySvenz Are you tryna tell me that a property owner has some say over what I post on their property???

Funny thing: cons claim to love capitalism, but the rules about posting on online properties they complain about are just business people maximizing stockholder return.

Cons cheered when a baker won the right to not bake a gay wedding cake, but they seem quite upset when Facebook won't bake their fascist cakes!!

That is exactly not what is said in that XKCD strip @ElwoodBlues
@AbbySvenz True. Although what I wrote is germane to the "or host it while you share it" clause. Property rights to come into play there.

@AbbySvenz I can't believe this has to be continually explained to some people, over and over and over and over ... I highly doubt that @Dv8rs would allow me to stand in their living room spouting whatever I like ... whether they are a renter or not, that is how private property and the private sector works
