@rckt148 Yea, I get that.. I am in trouble at the moment for something I said as a joke several months ago..it was something I said jokingly/self-deprecatingly... someone took it the wrong way and has just caused me a whole heap of trouble! I should learn to shut my mouth!

@Adaydreambeliever I suck at being funny in text ,comedy is all about timing and giving people time to catch the joke and respond ,in person I am told I am pretty funny ,most of the older men in my family are ,though most of them drink and have no filter as to what they say ,they can make you laugh until you hurt ,
But in text ,most people don't get it unless you explain it too ,which ruins the joke ,,so I have offended my share of people who made me wish instead of trying to make them smile I had just kept it to myself
Its sad people are so thinned skinned now days ,,no one can take a joke
Its like they look for things to be offended about now days .its sad
They would crucify Richard Pryor or Red Foxx now days
They both were very racist in their comedy ,but we knew it was just a joke
and even if they actually felt that way in real life ,they made a whole generation laugh at themselves .I miss Richard ,he was the king of comedy in my book ,thought his profanity was a little over the top ,he set the bar for funny ,,I miss him
And as my cousins always say ,,,F em if they can't take a joke
