Would you consider it? Or are you one to stay safe at home?

What do you think about storm chasers/spotters? Is that something you'd like to do...to be out chasing and looking for tornados? Would you enjoy the adrenaline rush or is your bag to be sitting at home, safe as possible, away from the unpredictability of the storm?

Yeah...I'll be at home, as safe as I can be in the basement, with a cup of coffee, and snacks. Lol.

I would love too. I was driving once and saw one and it was a rush.

I've gone to the beach during storms just to see and feel.

why tempt fait 🤗

Nope, while I've gone outside to see a hurricane blow things apart, I'm not near crazy enough to chase a tornado.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
Oh, absolutely. I want to go chase a funnel cloud in the sky and have it try to kill me just so I can show you, film in 11.
Yeah, no, I'm staying home.

@Gibbon I feel the same!

Not worth it !

I would rather chase peaceful sunrises and sunsets.

In Texas, the Tornados chase you!

I have only seen a couple of supercells this year and though spectacular, were not in the mood to spawn a tornado.

They (the storm chasers) drive around in tanks basically, packed with radar equipment , and drive into the path of a tornado and their vehicle shoots anchors into the ground and they sit there and watch the world fly by. Crazy!

Seen enough bad weather when I wasn't trying to chase it. I'll have to pass running after a tornado. I do love a good thunderstorm though.

I’m not necessarily afraid of storms or anything like that but purposely running around beside tornadoes isn’t something I’m ever about to do.
In southern Ontario I remember just one really bad storm: Hurricane Hazel in mid-October 1954. I was too little to be ascared but I remember my parents and some other folks standing in doorways of our house looking like disaster was about to hit.

As an adult I never gave chasing after tornadoes and the like a second thought.

Considering we evacuate for hurricanes I would would say I am a sit in my recliner and watch it on TV person. 🙂 Could you pass the snacks please.
