He has said he was proud that Roy Cohn was his mentor.

Cohn was a lawyer for Sen. McCarthy's House Un-American Activities Cmte, which went looking for Communists everywhere and turned the country inside-out through whispers, etc.

Cohn boasted that he loved destroying people.

Not a great model for a person wanting to be President.
