If you spent every single day with your gf the first 6-7 months of your relationship… wouldn’t you get bored after a while and need space? Even if you loved her more than anything?

Research has shown that the typical relationship lasts 22 months, which is usually enough time to produce at least one child, so from an evolutionary standpoint, this works.
