I Have A Question For Guys

Say you lost your job and found yourself stuck at home for months despite dropping your CVS in different places. Would you mind being a house husband, doing the chores your wife would have done if roles were reversed?

I do all the chores anyway, even when I worked. Yet I have been alone for decades now.

What's the reward for living with anyone?
Paladin · 56-60, M
@DeWayfarer The reward is having someone to share your life, your experiences with.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Paladin that never lasted long for me.

Believe me, when I was younger I had many female roommates when I was younger. I invited them and each wouldn't do anything. Not even payed the utilities or food.

@DeWayfarer My wife and I are going on 41 years together. I can't imagine spending my life alone.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Paladin it doesn't always work out. Just saying. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@DeWayfarer Sounds like a lonely life ☹️.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Hotchocolatezebra the woman that wants me will have to be the one interested.

I'm through with playing the game. Spent my younger years chasing without any really interested enough to stay.

@DeWayfarer It's hard liking someone who doesn't feel the same way. Hope you find that special lady 🤗.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Hotchocolatezebra the only way that can happen is if someone really looks. It really doesn't matter which one as long as one of the two looks.
Hotchocolatezebra · 31-35, F
@DeWayfarer It's also hard to let go of someone even when you know they don't feel the same way.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Hotchocolatezebra that is true. Especially if you never learned rejection young.

Unfortunately I did learn rejection young. 😞
Hotchocolatezebra · 31-35, F
@DeWayfarer I also learnt rejection young but it's never easy 😭.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Hotchocolatezebra there are different ways of learning things. And so no two people's experiences are the same.

Yet the way I handled it is different than most.

The following link is a list of girls and women throughout my life, that I both loved and cared about. Some I had to let them go. ANY of them I would gladly welcome back...

Some things you must let go, in order to get any single one of them back.
Hotchocolatezebra · 31-35, F
@DeWayfarer That's true. Let me read.
Hotchocolatezebra · 31-35, F
@DeWayfarer Wow the list is really long. I wonder how long my list will be when I reach your age 😅.
