Than anyone you know personally? Could be anything..

I eat one meal a day at around 6-7 pm. I don't get hungry until that time. I trained my body. So much of hunger is subconscious expectations. Was painful and took like a month to do though.

I dont know if it is different per se, but maybe unusual as I don't know many people who do this but I think in different perspectives simultaneously sometimes and it often makes it seem like I am on the fence about things.

@SW-User I think a lot of people genuinely don't know what thinking in different perspectives is like to begin with, let alone do it at the same time 😸

@MartinTheFirst And then there I am, expecting them to keep up with me.😂

@SW-User Ah, you've described something I do deliberately, quite a lot; trying to see the different sides of an issue. I like to believe I'm engaging in 'critical thinking' but I'm familiar with the 'sitting on the fence' accusation. I think to myself 'That's your fence, pal. I don't have one.' Trying for open mindedness is such a habit with me that when someone voices an one-sided opinion I'm liable to come out with an opposite one, almost automatically. In general that's not helpful :).
SW-User
@Really I don't know if it's not helpful. I think it's not helpful being rigid about one picture, when it could be an incomplete one.

@SW-User Ha! Agreed, but I was referring to the type of response I often get when pointing out there are different possible viewpoints.
SW-User
@Really Oh. Yeah I often keep quiet and just observe from a distance. It is often not worth the argument.

@SW-User two of my favourite quotes (Kierkegaard):

"The thinker without a paradox is like a lover without feeling; a paltry mediocrity"
and
"People understand me so poorly that they don't even understand my complaint about them not understanding me".
SW-User
@Really I love these!

@SW-User I collect quotes that I like and I have many from Kierkegaard. Mostly, I think, from "Either/or" - one of the few sources I've actually read :).

@Really I'll have to look him up. Thank you for introducing it to me.

@SW-User Enjoy!

@SW-User Can't remember where or in what format I read him. Looking online I see some sites that include lots of self important analysis and have very wordy translations that are laborious to read. I hope you don't get discouraged, and can find a good 'ordinary English' translation.

@SW-User i believe you. You have a truly unique energy. Im dead honest when i say there is no one on here that feels even a little like you do to me. I have always gotten a completely open minded and hearted feeling from you. Seems to relate to what you just expressed.
SW-User
@Coppercoil I feel weirdly 'seen' and it is a really nice feeling. Thank you.
