Why do people walk through the city with Primark bags? Why aren't they embarrassed?

@SW-User Well for one thing, the clothes they sell at Primark aren't very good

@IndigoSavage I know. They are temporary usage clothes. But it's one of the busiest retail shops.
Being poor is nothing to be ashamed of but it's also not necessary someone is poor if they shop there.

@IndigoSavage That’s not always the case, the clothes are likely made in the same Malaysian sweat shops as NEXT & M&S. besides, Primark don’t just sell clothes, they sell all sorts 😊

@IndigoSavage Ok, your point is that you think people should be ashamed of shopping at Primark - that’s the real issue, hence why you think they should be embarrassed to carry the bags. I think that says more about you, judging people who have no option but to shop there 😊

@IndigoSavage nah I don't have such snobbishness. I am not poor either or have any complex of appearing poor. I'm content with who I am without needing the approval of strangers on the street.
