How old were you when you first crashed your bike into a tree and knocked yourself out and had to go to the hospital for a neck x-ray?

Just wanting to know you more.

Never years old. I did crash into a bench when I was on a sled once tho, but there were no injuries.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic What good is a crash if no injuries?
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@uncleshawn Well it's a crash that has had no injuries, it's good because there's only shock and no actual injury.
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Keep hopeful. You can have some kind of crash in the future and get a nice manly injury.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@uncleshawn But I don't want to get an injury, why are you wishing me an injury, stay away from me.
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Injuries are good for you. Hurt and harm are not the same thing. Go get yourself a nice injury.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@uncleshawn How are they not the same? Harm hurts, hurting can be caused by hard. Injuries are fundamentally bad for you.
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Get a vaccination. Ouch. Hurt. No harm. In fact, good. Hurt is not fundamentally bad. Harm is fundamentally bad.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@uncleshawn Hurting or pain is the sensation we have evolved to tell us that something is wrong, without pain we could stand in a fire and not know we're burning to death. In majority of cases pain is a reaction to harm.

Practically speaking getting a needle to pierce your skin, muscle and eventually the blood vessel is harm, it's a type of trauma, piercing trauma to be correct. Yet it is only that the benefit of a vaccine far outweighs the harm of a tiny piercing wound which would stop itself from bleeding in 5 minutes, clot by 15 and heal completely in a few days.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic You are totally missing it, man. It is a basic thing that distinguishes a child from an adult, a distingushing intellectual trait of a mature person. Pain vs Harm. Hopefully you will understand and apply it someday. I wish you luck.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@uncleshawn I really think there's something wrong with you, there's nothing intellectual or mature about pain, normal people don't like it just as we were intended to, we were hard wired to associate pain with harm and thus avoid it, so does any living being with the ability to feel it.
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Good luck.
