I’m just curious, has owning a gun ever actually protected you or is more of just a peace of mind

Just like knowing you have a gun in your house if you need it, it’s there?

Damn policeman wanted my ID to write me a invitation to the court, I unbuttoned my coat and when he saw my 9mm he took off running.... No ticket but I did get to meet his co workers
