Yes because as a married woman she is the property of her husband and it is inappropriate for an owned woman to have any physical contact with a male not related to her by blood because it might make her husband jealous and/or lead to straying.

Partially true. A gay man represents no threat to the husband's sovereignty over his wife but the perception of impropriety could still damage his reputation and is therefore unacceptable.
