@YMITheWayIM Beautiful lies can be used to manipulate others, not merely to make someone feel better at the moment.

@cherokeepatti Same is true for cute facts too. Flattery for instance.

@YMITheWayIM yeah I’m not a fan of flattery. I don’t mind an occasional compliment or someone saying they appreciate something I’ve done though. But flattery seems like a way of making a person who is giving it feel like they are special for doing it.
