not with a young, much-anticipated KIng-In-Waiting in the wings. by all appearances, he and his family are groomed and willing and there's no apparent advantage to ending it. at least according to what i've read, the institution makes far more monies than it spends

People would still visit the buildings even if the royal family were no longer there. In fact they usually aren't there anyway!
