The Queen was right about Harry's wife's wedding but dress- but not for the reason she thought.
Recently it has emerged the dear late Queen was critical of Harry's wife wedding dress because she thought it was "too white".
I loathe to attempt to undermine the reasoning of our late Queen - a monarch who was universally adored and it's agreed by all that she never put a foot wrong.
However, she said this because Harry's wife was a divorcée, consequently making a white dress- that traditionally demonstrates a virginal bearing- extremely wrong.
I believe though, in this case, her previous marriage should have not been a factor in making the dress thoroughly inappropriate. The fact that Harry's wife has an incongruous accent combined with her being an actress was reason enough to not only make the dress colour inappropriate but also (in a decent society) render any such union being celebrated in a church equally unacceptable.
That minx has ruined Harry and someone from The Palace should have put their foot down.
