Did anyone else get emotional watching the funeral procession for the Queen?

I’m not a Royal watcher by any means and I’ve never met the Queen, but I was moved watching the images from today. Maybe it’s the general sense of loss, and empathizing with the family. Maybe it’s the fact that something that has been a constant throughout my life, is now gone, the end of an era, and endings are generally sad.
Or maybe it’s a reminder of my own aging and mortality. That not even the Queen lives forever.

Strangest of days.
The queue is already back to opposite the Tower of London.
@OldBrit apparently visitation is open 24hrs. The guards standing by the coffin must get so tired standing still for hours on end

@Ghostinthemachine they rotate every 20 mins
@OldBrit good to know. I was about to head over and offer them a stool
