I watched an interview with Prince Harry…

I saw a video of his interview by Stephen Colbert (on whose show Harry received a hero’s welcome). He discussed the new book, his childhood, back to the day his father told him about the loss of his mother, his military service, and his relationship with the Royal family. Maybe if I lived in the UK I’d feel differently, but I enjoyed the interview and thought he came across as very likable. They showed a photo of him with his family. Harry commented that he said he didn’t really expect that their children would have red hair. "But those Spencer genes were strong ! Go gingers !”
Colbert and the audience chuckled.

I agree that he comes across as likeable and pretty innocent. It seems obvious that the firm controls a lot more than we ever realised…
I also get the hate though as someone growing up with the monarchy. They’ve shattered the illusion of the royal family.

@Notladylike as someone brought up in Britain and who is British. It was a conversation that should have happened years ago not because harry decided to be with a non white.
@Gangstress Absolutely. It has also exposed how racist the institution is. Or at least that is my read of it
