Coronation of King Charles

I am warming up to him, to my surprise.
He has been saying good things to and about Indigenous people and the formerly colonized, for example.

Regarding the actual coronation, I was annoyed that it is scheduled on a Saturday, which makes participating in any way difficult or impossible for observant Jews. But he has made arrangements for the Chief Rabbi to participate, and British Jews seem enthusiastic from what I've read, so I guess that's okay :)

I do like the golden carriage he will ride in and the baroque vestments he will wear.

Hopefully a good time will be had by all :)

I don't know if celebrating is the word, but I will watch it and have a nice breakfast. I'm glad it's early and it won't intrude on my gardening time.

The English certainly do pomp and circumstance well. Great music if you enjoy classical choral works.

eh, I've seen the whole show... I don't especially like him. The fact that he made Camilla "The Queen" when Philip was never given the King title is really biting at me. He was awful to Diana and Harry. That's about all I have to say about him.
