Why is there always some numb nuts...

...That has to point out that King Charles' reign started the moment that his mother died???

No shit, Sherlock - point is that he's only been reigning for 8 weeks and is barely out of mourning.

His mother reigned for 70 years. How has he had a chance to demonstrate what his reign will be like in just 8 weeks - 4 of which were spent in mourning???

{@hootythenightowl] well he needs time too adjust of course to the role as monarch as the queen did after the death of george the sixth .
@smiler2012 Exactly. I don't get how anyone can make up their minds on what sort of King Charles is going to be based on such a short time frame - and all I get by way of me pointing out that fact is "Well, the coronation is just the public acceptance of his reign - he's been king ever since his mother's death".

Yeah... like, that's the point I was trying to make. It just proves my point that he hasn't even reigned for long enough to be coronated or even have a chance for the public to form a fair opinion of him or his reign.
