Why is it mostly moderates calling for Biden to step aside, whereas the left wing mostly supports him continuing the race?
I consider myself left wing, not moderate, but I want President Biden to step aside.

Because the progressives understand that it’s too late to find a replacement, and if Biden can’t beat Trump, no other Democrat can.

It will be very interesting to see how the MAGA cult reacts to Trump's VP pick, since that person will be his assumed successor in 2028 regardless of whether he wins or not.

@SumKindaMunster If you care about the Palestinians, at least Biden is trying to influence Netanyahu to back off. Trump will tell him to finish the job as fast as possible and make sure he has the means to do it.
It's weird how conservatives blame Democrats for spending money when Republicans run bigger deficits. Trump's budget deficit was the largest in history.

Abortion outlawed nationwide
Gratuitous oppression of LGBTQ
Higher taxes on the middle class and tax cuts for the wealthy
Destruction of the environment
Idiotic tariffs that will have no effect other than making goods more expensive
Likely war with China over Taiwan
Escalation of antisemitism

While I think abortion should be legal for a period of time, it's not something that's going to influence my vote.
Don't care about LGBTQA etc etc. Gay marriage is legal.
My taxes were not impacted significantly by either the Trump or Biden administration. The inflation we experienced 2 years ago was brutal though.
Hm, yes and what have the Democrats done for the environment? Been 40 years and everything I am seeing is the climate is getting worse. Maybe its time to stop chasing the BRICS countries around for treaties they have no intention of honoring. Might be time to start cloud seeding and blocking the sun over the Pacific and Atlantic.
