A man in Utah was shot and killed by FBI agents after making an 'implied threat' - "cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle" - against Joe Biden.

PROVO, Utah (AP) — An armed Utah man killed by FBI agents after making [implied] threats against President Joe Biden was described by family and neighbors as a gun enthusiast and devoted churchgoer who became distraught over what he saw as “a corrupt and overreaching government.”

The family insisted in a statement on Thursday that Air Force veteran Craig Deleeuw Robertson would not have acted on the threats and committed violence over political disagreements, despite court records in which prosecutors depicted him as radicalized.

Robertson, who public records say was 74 years old, was killed Wednesday by agents trying to serve a warrant at his Provo home hours before the president landed in Utah to visit a Veterans Affairs hospital in Salt Lake City...

Prosecutors had filed three felony charges against Robertson under seal for alleged threats, including one this week that he was “cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle” in anticipation of Biden’s Utah visit.

The self-employed woodworker was largely homebound and had limited mobility,

“The salient point is that he was never actually going to hurt anyone,” family member Julie Robertson said in a text message. “He didn’t even leave his house on the day of the presidential visit.”

We only have their word that he was armed, and their word is usually a lie, as we have seen over time.

@Justice4All This video shows nothing! Agents are in the way, as is the vehicle, and the flashing lights distort the clear view.
He is told to 'show me your hands' twice.
If there is a valid video showing that the guy was unarmed and did not point his weapon at the agents, let's see it.

I have seen cops shoot many unarmed black guys....and in the back....with no consequences.

If it can be proven that the agents are in the wrong, then charge them. Nobody is above the law.

So are you saying there is a video of the man coming outside and pointing a weapon at the agents? You have seen this? From reports that I saw, they said the agents went into the house, and shot him inside, then dragged his body outside, and left it at the kerb. Is this not accurate?@JSul3 @JSul3

@Carissimi I have seen no videos that support either....but the ABC News video, posted above by Justice4All, the agents command his to 'Show me your hands!".....twice. Make your own conclusion.

My conclusion is we only have the word of the FBI. As they have lost the trust of millions of Americans because of their corruption, then it’s up to each individual to say if they trust their word, or not. Personally, I wasn’t there, so I don’t know what happened, but neither do I trust a corrupt agency. @JSul3

@Carissimi It has everything to do with the topic. If these agents are in the wrong, they must be held accountable for their actions.
We have seen many an unarmed black man, shot by police, many times in the back. What is the rhetoric from many? "Well, he got what he deserved because all he had to do, was comply with the officers command and he would still be alive."
Police are able to 'shoot first and ask questions later' mentality, due to the fact they can act with impunity.

So what we have here, is a white man that, according to the audio, was told twice to "Show me your hands!" i don't know if he pointed a gun at the agents or not....any video I have seen is too dark or with bright red lights flashing, unable to see. If it can be proven that he was unarmed, the agent(s) need to be held accountable.
What we do know is, this white msn had a history of being quick to garnish a gun. He threatened some cable tech guys who were trying to do their job wbo were performing some maintenance. He had a history of rhetoric on social media that got the attention of the feds. You can easily search his comments and judge for yourself if they were threatening. He appeared to be looking forward to seeing Biden....and not in a positive way.
