A group of Democratic senators wrote a letter to the Department of Homeland Security chief expressing "deep concerns" about the end to Title 42, a Trump-era policy allowing for the rapid removal of migrants encountered at the border.
The policy, originally implemented in March 2020, was struck down earlier this month by U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan, who ruled that it violates the Administrative Procedure Act.

What about the unsecured border to the north? Why aren't you worried about white Canadians sneaking into this country? It happens all the time, yet you're more concerned with the brown-skinned Mexicans. What's the difference here? I don't understand.
@LordShadowfire that's a valid question, and by statistics most undocumented immigrants are actually Canadians on expired working visas. But I mean, you know, no racism or anything...
