The government shouldn't interfere with strikes. That is none of the government's business.

Joe took charge when no one else could.
at least there wasn’t a massive firing like Reagan did with the Air Traffic Controllers.

@Aliveshock I'll bet he didn't tell the railroads to give the strikers what they want. He told the workers they couldn't strike. Greed always wins.

The two groups got together for an agreement. They understood the unintended damage that would happen by the strike. Joe understands Unions.
Ever since the early 80s when Reagan crippled the Unions , it has caused the disappearance of the middle class.
Joe just might change that. Most important of all we have circumvented collateral damage that a strike would cause.
