It's not about living rent-free... The reason Trump's reign bothers the 50% of the country who didn't vote for him, is because that 50% still can't believe the other 50% can be so gullible, stupid, and wilfully ignorant in the age of information.
He incited riots, he constantly said blatantly stupid/incorrect things, he didn't know how to pronounce common, domestic words properly (Eg. "Yosemite", which is embarassing). He continues to say blatantly stupid/incorrect things, as just the other day he again endorsed hydroxychloroquine as a COVID treatment.
Then he galvanised a huge group of morons into showing their true colors by refusing to admonish racism. Those same morons were stupid enough to harass and cause distress to innocent civilians, and they also stormed the Capitol. If Trump did have another 4 years, it's anyone's guess as to the kind of shit he would stir up.
The majority of his supporters are impoverished, blue collared people, too stupid to realise he'd piss in their faces given half a chance.
The only thing living rent free in the heads of Trump detractors (not saying I'm a Biden supporter), is the utter amazement that 50% of grown adults are too ignorant and stupid to know a tyrant when they see one. It just confirms the stereotype that most Americans are moronic man-children who believe in crazy shit like angels, UFOs, or that the government is trying to kill them.
