They may not be detained or deported. Also the American government will reach out to all the illegal alien's who have been deported, this includes criminals and gang members, bringing them back to America at the cost of the tax payers so these people can be reunited with family and friends.

@Keepitsimple If they pass the "For the People's Act", HR1, the federal government will remove the ability of all our states to regulate their own elections. Pelosi wants to model our voting on California, and it will become ILLEGAL to require anyone at all who wishes to vote by absentee ballot ANY form of identification. That means that illegals who are not citizens will be able to vote.

Also included in the HR1 Power Grab is the creation of Washington DC as a STATE. The founders who wrote our Constitution [b]created[/b] Washington DC as a non-state, because it was crucial to them that one state would not have MORE power than the others.
