We didn't vote for Biden "because we don't like him." We voted for him because he'll be a little better than Trump. Not much better, but you take what you can get.

@JT123 Well, there's not much, but there's a couple. He was VP under Obama, who I have a pretty negative opinion of as well, but the two of them did secure the IND, and also created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which returned several tens of millions of dollars to Americans who were the victims of fraudsters or illegal financial practices by big banks.

@JT123 name the positive things Trump did - what with cutting taxes to the rich, screwing over working class Americans, ignoring Covid, arming Jihadists and putting kids in cages and separating them from their parents. Also, the debt has increased. Yeah "best president ever".

@BlueMetalChick also, while not ideal, he did help start the ACA, which helped poorer Americans get health insurance. Yeah, it's not single payer national healthcare, but it's at least something.

@JT123 What Hunter Biden is doing is not illegal. It SHOULD be illegal if you ask me but currently it isn't. It's still really fucking slimy though. But what the hell, Trump has been doing the exact same thing, and in his case, it IS illegal cos he was the sitting president as he did it. In my opinion they should both have to answer for it.

@basilfawlty89 He's referring to something called "Biden, Inc." which is the slang term for Biden using his name recognition and political position to get his family members jobs that they're not qualified for. It's scummy but it's technically legal.
